On the subject of love, I’ve grown very fond of Amos Lee and the way he sings about love. If i could date his music, i would. It’s so out right and without reservation. I want my love to look that way. I hope it looks that way.
This song is pretty great for two reasons:
1. Well listen to it
2. I’m going to see him live later this week!

I realized that I crave conversation and when I don’t get enough of it i start to wonder about the things I know. There’s enough consistency in my life to know when something’s just not going to last or highly unlikely to remain unchanged. There’s also a sense of realism I get through conversation. It’s like my link to people when I don’t already know their thoughts on a topic. Sounds obvious but it’s easily overlooked.
Talk.
Listen.
Love.
This is the coolest thing i’ve seen all day…this and the sheet of ice all over the ground outside. None the less, I found this on muh friend’s page (Alyssa, she’s cool). So I hope you think it’s as gnarly as I do.
Love

Lauryn Hill is one of my all time favs. Recently i’ve been searching for a ‘Selah’ moment of my own. (I have about 5 saved drafts about that…another day perhaps.) So here’s one we can all share. Enjoy!
Love,
Dom
p.s.- “Selah” is Hebrew for pause, or stop and think.

Somehow, somewhere, someone decided to take the liberty to distort the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr and capitalize on the profits. Thanks for the pun. I’m not gonna lie, I laughed…pretty hard too. What would MLK say?
An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.
I don’t think he’d really care.
That’s today’s post for King Week 2011!
Love,
Dom :D

I wrote some pretty cool stuff and I saved it all in a sires of drafts on my tumblr. At first it was out of a lack of clarity on the situation. That has evolved to a sensitivity for the subjects of some of those writings. I don’t want this to be anything less than honorable so I’ve hesitated to share my personal experiences. It is, however, a shame that I haven’t shared some of the insight i’m most grateful for.
That being said i’m going to start posting the poor forgotten memoirs in stages. Keep a close eye out for them.
This is Flauta, endearingly nick named “baby dingo”.
